Vape Tanks are the most common style of atomizer due to their balance between performance and convenience as well as being one of the oldest styles of atomizer. Tanks work by holding E-liquid or E-juice in an internal resivoir surrounding the coil, the coil absorbs the e-liquid and holds it against an internal heating element while preventing the liquid from flooding the actual heating element. This is how all vapes work in a process called “wicking” eventually the cotton will deteriorate or “burn out” this process happens slowly and gradually progressively the cotton will provide less flavour and then it will add a sort of burnt flavour as well. Different vapers find that they need to change their coil more or less depending on the individual some are more sensitive to the burnt flavour and some don’t notice until it’s done for good!

Easy to maintain and operate these atomizers have very few drawbacks and any complaints that you may have with one tank there will be another that addresses that specific issue as there are many different styles of tanks designed for different wattage ranges and vaping styles from small mouth to lung or MTL tanks to powerful Sub-Ohm Tanks that produce strong flavour and a large volume of vapor.

Tanks work by utilizing an internal atomizer head also known as a coil, sold in packs of various quantities depending on the tank. Replacing these coils is easy and usually consists of threading the coil into the tank and saturating it with E-liquid or “priming” the coil.

Some of the most popular tank manufacturers today have been around from the beginning including Smok and Aspire giving them plenty of market experience and insight into the what the customer wants. Tanks are often revised or renewed to address any complaints that customers may have. Some popular brand options include Smok, Aspire, and Wirice.
