* This new method of accessing our site is to comply with Health Canada’s Vaping Products Promotion Regulations or VPPR.
The VPPR prohibits the advertising of a vaping product, or a vaping product-related brand element, that can be seen or heard by young persons, unless the advertising benefits from one of the exceptions listed in Subsection 2(2) of the VPPR. This prohibition applies to websites and social media platforms, and an Age Gating Mechanism (AGM) must be used to prevent young persons from seeing or hearing vaping product advertising. The AGM must ensure a diligent verification of the age of the person accessing the website, and advertising must not be seen or heard by young persons before the completion of the AGM process. The VPPR came into force on August 7, 2020.
