Shipping Policy at Planet of the Vapes
We ship domestically throughout Canada directly from our headquarters in Edmonton Alberta. We primarily ship through Canada post, but occasionally use FedEx or UPS. Additionally, offer local pick ups to customers in the area, and in the event of a COVID-19 lock-down, we offer curbside pickup as well. * Please note that we use the Proof of Age (18/19+) option on every single package.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Couriers are no longer taking signatures for proof of age upon delivery. They will be leaving a card for you to go to the local post office/depot to pick up your package.
Should a package be returned due to failure of a valid signature, ALL fees associated with the shipment will NOT be refunded.
Once we have undoubtedly verified your age with a successful delivery, you will be able to be exempt from signing for all packages.
You may be required to pick up packages from local post office for age verification.
Items Damaged in Transit
Items shipped from us are insured through the courier which we use.
Same-day Delivery Service (Edmonton)
If you place an order Monday to Saturday by 2:00pm, and live in Edmonton, you will be able to have your items delivered same day within a 5-hour window depending how busy it is, weather conditions etc. Usually, the average ETA is 2hours. To provide a same day speedy service in eligible delivery zones, a delivery fee of $14 will be added to your order.
*If you happen to place your same-day delivery order after the 2:00pm cut-off time, then your order will be delivered on the next business day with a next day delivery charge of $12.
**Customers will be required to show government issued photo ID as proof of age before their order will be dispatched. We require an image of the front and back of your ID, and a selfie of you holding your ID next to your own face. If we can’t verify your proof of age before 12:30pm your order may be delayed. It is recommended that all customers be home to receive their packages. Our drivers attempt to call all customers to deliver the package to them directly. If customers cannot be reached prior to delivery, the package will be left in the mailbox, doorstep etc. A picture will be taken with proof of delivery.
***On days of inclement weather or poor road conditions, orders may be delayed until the next business day. A refund may be offered in these rare occasions.
****Service/shipping/delivery fee is non-refundable.
Some local postal codes are outside of our delivery zone, due to their distance from our store, and are not presently eligible for same-day delivery service. We apologize for any inconvenience.
