CVA (Canadian Vape Association)
The CVA is a group of Canadian Vapers and Vape Shops, from the CVA “Our organization was created in 2014 as the original voice for the burgeoning Canadian vaping industry. The CVA is Canada’s only national advocacy organization representing the industry with no tobacco companies as part of our membership, nor do we receive any fees from tobacco companies.” The CVA was founded with the goal of advocating for vaping products and harm reduction technology. The Canadian Vaping Association is a registered national, not-for-profit organization, established as the voice for the burgeoning Canadian vaping industry. Founded in 2014, the CVA represents over 200 retail and online vaping businesses in Canada, not including tobacco companies or affiliates. The association is the primary liaison with the federal and provincial governments on all legislative and regulatory issues related to the industry. The primary goal of CVA is to ensure that government regulation is reasonable and practical, through the strategy of professional proactive communication and education supplied bilingually to health officers, media, and elected officials. VAEP (Vaping Advocacy and Education Program)
VAEP is a grass roots nonprofit founded by a nurse to help people learn the truth about vaping. VAEP reviews scientific evidence and formats it in a way that anyone can understand. VAEP is founded on nursing principles such as: self directed learning from credible resources, teaching others so they can make informed choices, and respecting a person’s right to make their own decisions.
